What’s a Fourth of July celebration without burgers, which are an American staple? This year, surprise your friends and family with a tender and delicious burger with a little kick. Our special burger recipe calls for stuffing the patties with blue cheese and topping them with Manuka Honey Mustard. This is a recipe both children and adults will enjoy! Happy Fourth!

Red, White and Blue Burgers with Manuka Honey Mustard

Ingredients:

Burgers

  • 1 package of 96/4 beef (we recommend grass-fed)
  • 3 oz blue cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, for taste

Manuka Honey Mustard

  • 1/2 cup stone ground mustard
  • 2 tbsp Wedderspoon Manuka Honey
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, for taste

Directions:

  1. Combine all burger ingredients, minus blue cheese, into a bowl and form into six patties.
  2. Put 1/2 oz of blue cheese in the center of each patty.
  3. Fold patties in half, over the blue cheese (to encase the blue cheese).
  4. Preheat grill to maximum heat.
  5. Cook burgers to desired temperature.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together all Manuka Honey Mustard ingredients.
  7. Serve burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles and top with Manuka Honey Mustard.
Optional: Serve burgers on buns.
